The purpose of the "US Migrations - Culture, Immigration, and Diaspora" panel was to give voice to the diverse experiences of cultural migrations across the US. As we know, migration has a direct impact on various aspects of US society (economics, culture, politics, religion, among others) and, ultimately, policy development and implementation. The goal of this panel is to discuss how migration/immigration/diaspora across the US shape/reshapes our culture and impacts our perceptions of self and others.
